Sugar Time

Officially it's spring. Whoever controls the weather in VT didn't get that memo. It is still cold, but the sugar maples are running and the sugar houses are boiling. I finished my Ph.D. on Friday, so it feels like a good point to transition between winter and spring. We went out to Palmer's sugar house in Shelburne yesterday to check out their operation.
