Older picture, circa 2002

I was thinking of my trip to Georgia (Republic of Georgia) and rummaged through my old hard drive for this image. We were stopped along the roadside on a relatively remote highway near the Russian border. A couple of older gentlemen stopped at the same turnout and had invited us for some bread, cheese and, of course, vodka. When this picture was taken I had already given my toast, and I was listening to the toast of the fellow on the right (via our translator). Our makeshift cups were the top half (in my hand) and bottom half of a plastic soda bottle.
