Lake Tahoe

Our first ski/snowboard adventure out West was a great success. Good friends, new friends, and lots of great food. We hit the slopes of Diamond Peak on Saturday. Sunday it was a bit rainy at lower altitudes so we got in some snowshoeing up at about 8500'. The drive home was a bit tricky. I-80 was all backed up due to the weather, so we made a detour around the slowdown on Donner Pass Rd. Yep, up and over Donner Pass during a snowstorm. We're both still alive, no limbs were eaten, although Christine claims she would probably taste better since she's a vegetarian.

View from the top of the lift.

Great photos! Hopefully you'll come back to Diamond Peak and see us again!
